I Love My Blog

I take on the baton of Blog Love from Geethica

There is something really special with this month called “February” whether you are dating or married to someone or single, love is in the air from February 1st.

I am single but always elated in February because February,  the month of love is also my birthday month :) :)

But this February 14th is dedicated to my baby, my blog.

I started this blog because I wanted to write and moreover wanted people to read what I wrote. A deep down dream of being a writer was accomplished through my blog.

When I started the very first time I was scared as what I write will be there forever and hence never poured my heart out but some refrained words. There on there was a lot of reading other blogs and copying their style making a mesh of writings.

Some other things took priority and the blog was put on hold for quite some time… literally… but when it's in one's heart it is never lost. Surfing and scrolling I found a community (BLOGCHATTER :) ) and the revival of my blog happened.

Today I am sorted (slightly ;)) on what I want to post and definitely bold enough to pen my heart out. My blog makes me feel like an entrepreneur nurturing it's venture. Going back on the older posts actually make me feel like looking at my baby grow.

Everyday I learn something new. Often enough I implement new plans, new ideas and experiment. We (my blog and I) are taking small steps but definitely getting on with each other and growing with each other. 2017 is going to be more special in bringing us a step further as I am executing my blog calendar. It is indeed beautifully said…

प्यार ना दिल से होता है ना दिमाग से होता है, प्यार तो इत्तेफ़ाक़ से होता है....

Yes….I am in Love and I Love my Blog.

I pass on the baton of Blog Love to Seema

Why wait

Driving is so soo soothing. Maybe it is the moving car acting as a babycrib or the beauty of the surroundings. But at times driving in city becomes a task with traffic and the ever lasting rush to reach the place that one can barely enjoy the ride.

As my friend and I drove through the city just to grab a coffee we waited at a traffic signal as it was red light. My friend was driving and instinctively she drove ahead breaking the signal saying “why to wait there are no cameras here “

Yes there are no cameras here and it reminded me of one of the NLP teaser workshop that I attended.

NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming. It dwells on the concept if something is ingrained in the sub conscious it is never lost.

Coming to where we were since childhood we are been given bits and pieces which say do this or this will happen. Like...drink milk or baba will come. Or a teenager boy getting to ride bike when his parents are not there.

This is conditioning and it happens unconsciously by parents and people around which somehow make way and penetrates one's mind forever. The same reason why we didn't stop at the traffic signal despite being the right thing to do as there were no cameras.

With NLP such events can be avoided. As the motive is to absorb the concept so that it becomes a habit and effective practice.

I am a big fan and promoter of the swachch bharat abhiyaan.  The government is making huge infrastructural investments in making public toilets (free of cost, as opposed to previous sulabh sochalay) creating awareness about using toilets, using dustbins and keeping the house and city clean.

One thing which people are yet to be educated on is… NOT SPITTING. One major problem in India is spitting and people don't even realize that it creates so many germs. It seems as if it is in their sub conscious that they can spit anywhere and actually they require to spit n number of times in a day.

I think there should be some approach like NLP used since one's childhood so that people neither spit nor break the rules when none is watching. DON'T YOU!!

Starting this week every alternate Wednesday is dedicated to stories or instances or learnings that I learn or implement at work. So stay tuned for #WorkWednesdays
